When should you choose Frame size determination?

You want to buy a new road bike, gravel bike or mountain bike.
You are undecided between two frame sizes.
You want to determine the stem/cockpit length in advance.
You don't want to base an expensive purchase on a size chart.

From the first conversation to the follow-up after your rides: this is how we support you and your bike.

Intake conversation

  • We always start with a cup of coffee.
  • Dimitri takes the time to listen to you and understand what you are looking for in a new bike.
  • We discuss your current complaints, wishes and expectations.
  • Using targeted tests, we look at your build, your body measurements and any abnormalities or limitations.
  • Your current bike set-up is also checked.

Fitbike adjustment

  • On the adjustable fitbike, we look precisely for the bike dimensions that suit you.
  • We determine, among other things, your frame size, crank length, cockpit length, handlebar width, reach and stack. These last two measurements give insight into the length and height of the frame.
  • By trying out small adjustments, we determine which frame geometry and components suit your body and your desired position.

Comparison and verification

  • We compare the measurements determined on the fitbike with the frames or bikes you are considering buying.
  • Together we discuss which models fit and which components may need to be changed.
  • A frame size determination is not a full bike fit. You receive advice on the suitable dimensions of your frame and components.

Follow-up support

  • Once your new bike or frame has been delivered, you can book a follow-up appointment to have your bike set up.
  • This appointment is not included in the frame size determination and costs €150.
